{ Shop Update }

Happy Holidays!

Hello! Here are the thirteen new dolls that will be available for sale in my Etsy Shop this evening (December 18th) at 5:30pm Pacific/8:30pm Eastern time. I apologize for the photo quality (I was fighting my camera, computer and a little sleep deprivation last night). I think next time it might just be easier more efficient to just post my previews on Instagram.

If you are new to my shop updates, please note that you will need to keep refreshing the Etsy Shop page until you see the dolls appear. Dolls are sold on a first come, first serve basis  Packages mailed in the continental US will be sent Priority mail (tracking + fully insured)  on Thursday the 19th. This is the last day to ship USPS Priority in order for it to arrive by Christmas. International orders will be sent via First class International /out insurance (unless requested) on Friday.

 

General Doll Description

 These handmade dolls are approx.12" in length and made of. super sculpey firm gray clay and painted with acrylics and watercolors. Their outfits are made of antique & vintage fabrics. Each doll dress was created from a variety of antique and vintage fabrics (tulle, voile, lawn,embroidered pieces in assorted cottons in creams and whites, silver lace, etc. Some dolls have. appliques cut from antique lace that adorn their dresses. I enjoy repurposing very old fabrics, so you will find that there is almost always some discoloration, tears, holes, repairs, frayed materials and creases in the delicate materials. I leave  those flaws in each of the dolls outfits as it lends to the 'dolls in the attic' look.

Their hair is made of wispy English viscose and is adorned with headdresses. made of glass beaded flowers and antique flowers. These dolls were specifically created to be displayed hanging on a wall and each doll has a tiny hook embedded hook into her back in case you wish to display her on the wall or as a framed piece. Please note that the dolls do not stand on their own and must be propped up carefully if displayed sitting. They should be kept out out of direct  sunlight and heat. The dolls are varnished but I do add on a bit of watercolor at the end so it's best not to touch their wipe their faces.

{ Shop Update Announcement }

Greetings! I will be adding a few new dolls* to my shop next Wednesday, December 18th at 5:30pm PST/8:30PM EST.

I'm working diligently on these and will have photos and descriptions posted here by Wednesday afternoon (along with info on where and how to purchase my dolls for those new to my shop updates). An email notice will be sent out early next week to those on my mailing list.

Dolls sold will ship Thursday the 19th,  via USPS Priority mail  (last day for Christmas packages to be sent on time here in the continental U.S.). U.S.packages will  include tracking +insurance (international orders will ship on Friday the 20th and will arrive in the usual shipping time).

If there are any changes to my shop update due to technical issues, etc., I will post that info in my Etsy shop and atop this blog.
