Merry Christmas!!

Just wanted to pass along a Merry Christmas greeting to everyone who has dropped by and given me support . I thank you and wish you a memorable holiday :) I hope to have more dolls up by next week so I probably wont be posting until then.

On a sad note..some of you may have seen on Etsy a notice about a jewelry designer who passed away Friday night. She was a 30 year old survivor of Katrina who was just getting her business back up and running on Etsy, Ebay and elsewhere when she was killed in a motorcycle accident,leaving behind two young sons. Esty members have a donation going on where you can buy items and the proceeds go directly to an account for her boys. I have donated two dolls to the cause and one has already sold. I do have another doll "India' who is still for sale so if you can please buy her or ANY item from the thread listed below as it will help out a family who really needs it. And if you're an Etsy seller please donate and item or portion of sales.The link also has other links to it including the accident report listed in the local paper.(It's a legitimate cause). Five more days before Christmas..and five new dolls

We decided not to send Christmas cards this year after all (except to immediate family) as time was slipping away from us fast. I've done two all nighters in the past week and caught a bit of the flu as well so it's time to slow down..for a day or two anyhow! (by the way, if you didn't get a card we're sending out Valentines ones instead since most people wont be expecting one:) )..ok ok I'm a procrastinator I know.
Thanks to everyone who have made suggestions for dolls. I've had a request for another Kiki doll, maybe two, which will not be the same as my previous one since I make one of a kinds. Also another white haired doll is due soon (possibly a bride), more ponytailed, striped-legging ladies are on the way, in addition to those dolls of Tina Modotti and Lousie Brooks I mentioned a month or two back. And though lots of people are doing Frida dolls, I may do one as it has been suggested as well. Oh and an Amelie doll which I've been wanting to do for a very long time. Needless to say I have a long list and little time but will get to them..eventually. I will be doing a commissioned doll in February or March (a guy doll) but am not taking anymore as I already have a full time job with my two year old.
Ok enough of me making excuses and thinking out loud! Have a wonderful weekend, safe holidays and I hope you get at least one thing you really wanted this year:) Thank you to those who have shown interest in my dolls and like them.That is a great gift to me!!
These dolls will be in my shop by this afternoon..I took some quick shots of them which look kinda like a police lineup at a candy shop or something. The individual pictures will hopefully look a little better!

I have a really bad habit ,as my husband has pointed out, of barely saying hello to people on the phone or in person , and then going straight to my point. I often feel thats what I do here.I drop off some pictures, then it's "Hi", Bye gotta go". I guess I'm like most people this time of year rushing around like chickens with their heads cut off. I haven't signed a single Christmas card and have tons to do...relax, breathe, Christine. Thank you to everyone who has left comments or emailed me. I appreciate you taking the time to visit and I promise to do the same to you soon:)
Two new dolls as I promised..One is a 12" doll named Maxine and the other is a 10" bride by the name of Clementine. I'm quite pleased how they turned out, though had you asked me yesterday that wouldn't have been the case as Ms. Butterfingers here was spilling paint on dupioni silk skirts and getting glue on everything!
These ladies will be up in my shop this morning. Happy Friday!
