I posted a picture of my studio awhile ago when it was clean and just thought I'd show you what it usually looks like (notice I'm not showing the floor). It's kind of a crammed space but at least there's lots of natural light and a high ceiling and at least it's a little space I can call my own. It also happens to be the most "girlie" room, as airplanes have taken over the decor of the rest of house.
This week and the next I'll be working on dolls for the next update. I've recently bought some beautiful fabrics but when I place them next to my new dolls they just don't quite look right.

Reminds me of being a kid and hearing about "Seasons". Not the actual ones, but the seasons that you 'looked good in' (I think it was a 70's thing). "Oh you're olive skinned ..you look good in cool colors.. therefore you must be a winter".
I remember my mom had a book that showed what colors each "season" looked best in (you're not a person , you're a season) and I realized that while I liked black, I actually preferred some of the autumn and summer colors. I was disappointed that I would never be able to wear aqua or orange without looking like the walking dead. The fashion police would come out of the woodworks if I dared sport a yellow shirt ( well..rightfully so if its anything other than lemon yellow). I've managed to get past this ridiculous notion except when it comes to my dolls. Go figure.

Anyhow, I'll be back this weekend with a post about the next update and hopefully something a little "deeper" than the subject of 'Seasons'. Off to break some silly rules now..go do the same :)
