Mini Print Info.....

After yesterday's sale of the three mini framed prints, I received many requests asking if I would make more of them. So I will be doing just that! I will have six more framed prints available in my Etsy shop Wednesday, October 1st at 6 pm (Pacific time). If you aren't able to get one at that time,don't worry, I will be making more (just waiting for more frames to arrive). 

A big THANK YOU to Julie for bidding so generously on the doll for the Nielson Recovery fund and for all of those who participated!

Rushing in again today to show another item that will be apart of the Etsy Benefit Sale which is turning into a week long event. Which is a fantastic  thing as many people are just hearing about it. Unfortunately I cant make duplicates of dolls, so instead I've made framed mini prints of my portrait painting of "Nie Nie". It is printed with archival inks on archival canvas paper and is approx 2.5" x  3". The outer frame is 4" x 4.5" and it comes ready to hang . The back is signed, numbered and also has the same Khalil Gibran quote on the back as the original painting does. It's a charming little piece and the good news is that there will be three of them available!(These will be part of the sale and will not be auctioned)

Ready for Part Two?

Hello! Just popping in real quick to mention a few things. In case people are wondering about the Etsy Benefit Sale, the first half of it occurred this morning and if you blinked you missed it. Items just flew off the shelves~you would have thought it was Black Friday! The other half of the donated items will be put up tomorrow at 10 am Pacific, as Morgan is a mere mortal (no!) and is still adding items all day today, preparing  for tomorrow.

If you were looking for my doll here's what happened. I sent it in for the sale and because several inquiries were made about it we chatted about it and then finally agreed on auctioning the doll on her site .And so the auction is open now and being held until 5pm Pacific on Weds the 24th. I am astonished at the out pouring of support for the Nielsons! Hooray!

 

I've have been getting a lot of questions about my dolls so I thought I answer a few questions here instead of email the same thing back to everyone. 

I have been in business almost a year and haven't taken any commissions (by choice). Over the past two months I have been considering it and will probably start taking some orders in January. I wasn't going to announce that until December but I've been getting so many requests lately. I still want to be able to make dolls for sale in my Etsy shop and that will be my primary focus, but will try and fufill a few requests each month:) 

For those asking about my Frida doll and Nie Nie dolls, I make one of a kind dolls, but will be adding a Frida here and there, though none will look like the other. As for Nie Nie , I may make a doll similar in style, but this will be the only "Nie-Nie" named doll. I don't want to promise anything because I still have a table full of dolls to get to (plus another Louise Brooks doll and Violette to make as well).They take time to create..and finding the time is the trickiest thing:)
