Holiday Shop Update Announcement

Greetings~hope your weekend is going well:) This is the third time I'm writing this post and have been kicked offline...grr..so this will be short and sweet.

The  update for the "Du Buh Du Ornaments "will be this Friday at 10 am! Tracy from Vintage Sister Studio had a great idea to hold a "Red Friday" for a few of us who are having our Etsy shop updates. I have had several inquiries about the ornaments~forgive me if I haven't returned your emails (or dropped by your blog!). There will be  about ten lady bird ornaments and a dozen doll ornaments (a lot more than the three from last year) . I will list sizes and prices on Thursday( and pictures).

Lady Birds and A Three Year Old..All In The Works.

Well, whenever I'm away from my blog for awhile, it is safe to assume that I'm busy, working away on my projects and that's been the case the past few days. I have some special ornaments in the works including the "Lady Birds" above. They aren't quite finished (they've been primed and are awaiting a new coat of paint) but since I work on several items at once I thought I'd show you just a quick sneak peek at the halfway point. I flirted with the idea of doing these back in the Spring time when I was making the dolls with the bird masks, but thought they'd be more suited as holiday ornaments :)

I also have doll ornaments that will soon be making their debut! They're  smaller versions of the dolls I am currently making and they look great so far! Look for  a Holiday Shop Update Announcement at weeks end.

I'll be disappearing back into the studio again this week, but want to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving!! 

And lastly, Monday is Andres's Birthday! He was born three years ago on a Thanksgiving morning :) We love you very much, Dres~Happy Birthday !

Thanks to every one who bought dolls this weekend! I am sorry to those who weren't able to get dolls this time or who had dolls in their cart and still weren't able to purchase them. I hope Etsy resolves this situation as I have seen it happen in other sellers updates. In the meantime I had a busy weekend so I am just now packing up boxes. I should have them off by tomorrow. And then I'll be back in the studio making doll ornaments for the next update! Enjoy your week:)
