Well, the packages are all sent off and the birthday party was a blast, so you probably think I'm taking a break, right? No! I am working on a couple of doll ornaments which I will have in my shop on Sunday the 14th at 5pm Pacific time, 8pm Eastern. I wish I could make more but I have some gifts to get started and sent off. But hopefully some of you who weren't able to get a doll ornaments on Friday will have a chance this time. (I'll have pictures up by Saturday or early Sunday) . The lady birds will not be included, but I have plans for a few slightly different versions of them to appear around Valentines :)

After next week I will be taking at least a month break. Actually, all that means is that I wont be having a "formal update". Believe me, I will be doing anything but lounging (that sounds tempting though). And when I'm not cleaning this house and studio from top to bottom, I will be working on some doll related projects; I am participating in an auction piece involving an "alter piece" (more on that later) and I will be planning my next giveaway as part of the "One World, One Heart Event". 

For those who aren't familiar with this Blog event, participants from all over the world hold a "giveaway" on their site on February 12th. This year, the founder Lisa Oceandreamer is starting the  event early, in late January, so that people have a time to visit all of the sites instead of attempting to do it all in one weekend. Last year  250+ blogs participated and I'm sure there will be more this year. It's a great way to discover new blogs and have a chance at winning a piece of art, jewelry, etc. (I won three things last year!).
