Dres (age three years)
Sometimes I have plans for a project and then it doesn't quite materialize as I had pictured. I had high hopes of shooting Spring photos of Andres and then arranging them into small handmade albums, as I've done in the past for the family. But I won't have time to assemble the books before Easter this year so they're being posted here for now. Our photo shoot (we tried twice) didn't go as anticipated. Dres has had the croup this week so I don't blame him for not wanting to take pictures. He did a good job considering not feeling well or wanting to stand still ;)
I take my hat off to photographers who shoot portraits of children for a living..it's next to impossible to keep little bodies in one place for two seconds not to mention shirts tucked in, hair neatly combed, shoes tied and clothes (kept relatively) clean all while trying to get everything in focus.
From our second photo shoot
I took some time off from doll making at the recommendation of my husband who could see I needed a break from all things creative. Sometimes I try to get too many things done and am just left spinning my wheels with nothing finished. Which was just as well as it's been an odd ,crazy week.
Off to varnish some dolls~hopefully I'll have a few to show next week :)
