Update: All sold out
To those I contacted last night if you could send me your paypal email address that would be great. I will send invoices Tues. morning and ship packages out by Weds. morning~Thank you!
As I mentioned in a previous post I am Guest Artist for Spookytime Jingles this month! At midnight tonight Eastern, 9pm Pacific, I will have five new ornaments available. Right now I just have images for the two Calavera Catrina Ornaments and I will try and have the doll ornament images up before they go on sale, but that may not happen. If I don't make it, just go to the Spoookytime Jingles site and they will be pictured there. My apologies in advance about my tardiness~it's times like this that I wish I had an assistant.
The site to go to:
Spookytime Jingles is where my ornaments will be available. Feel free to visit all of the wonderful creations made by the artists pictured on this page! To go to my page click on the "Guest Artist" avatar at the time mentioned above. The first page will have my two Catrina ornaments pictured with the prices. To see the Christmas ornaments, scroll down and click "Next" at the bottom of the page and they will be pictured. The page with my work will only be up until Oct 12th.
How this works..
If you see an ornament you like of mine, you will contact me at [email protected]. To keep things fair I will fill orders in the order in which they are received. I will only consider emails that are dated 9pm Pacific/12 Eastern or later. Please include which piece you would like (include a second choice if you have one in case your first choice is taken). I will send you an invoice for that piece. Please note that a piece will not say "sold" for awhile (I have to let Dani the amazing coordinator of Spookytimes Jingles know). Thank you so much for your patience~please note that one person is uploading images and getting the page organized and a lot of work is involved!
If you are interested in ornaments and are not able to purchase one this time, please let me know. If I get enough requests I will consider making more asap for my Etsy shop. Otherwise it's on to new dolls:)
"Calavera Catrina Madre " is approx. 4" tall (not including the 3" ribbon from which she hangs). The coffee stained cotton ribbon reads "El Dia de los Muertos 2011~ Du Buh Du Designs"
Her face has been painted and detailed with acrylics and black ink and she is coated in a uv protective varnish. Her black English viscose hair is pulled back into two buns. Her eyes are coated in ultra-fine black glitter. The lace around her neckline and her veil are very delicate (circa pre1900-30's) and there are tiny hand sewn glass beads on her neckline. I made the flowers out of watercolor paper and painted them with a pearlescent acrylic paint and they are dusted with ultra fine crystal glitter.
As with most of my previous ornaments they can be hung all year round or framed if you wish. Please keep these collectible art pieces out of direct sunlight, heat, and humidity to ensure that they last a lifetime.

Her face has been painted and detailed with acrylics and black ink and she is coated in a uv protective varnish. Her black English viscose hair is pulled back into two buns. Her eyes are coated in ultra-fine black glitter. The lace around her neckline and her veil are vintage (1920-30's) and there are tiny hand sewn glass beads on her neckline. She has tiny "orange blossoms" in her veil and I made the flowers out of watercolor paper and painted them with a pearlescent acrylic paint and they are dusted with ultra fine crystal glitter.

Marieke, Gwynie and Avaline are small (lightweight) versions of my hand sculpted polymer clay "Du Buh Du Dolls". They are approx. 9" in length (not including the 4" ribbon) and the heads are approx. 1" x 1.5" just to give you an idea as to their size .
Each is dressed in various ivory and cream colored silks and vintage lace (circa 1900-1930's). They are each hand painted using fine artists acrylics. The frayed silk ribbon around their waists are a pale dusty pink and their hair is made of English viscose. Tiny sequins and glass beads are hand sewn on various parts of their dresses and I made the flowers (on dresses and in hair) out of watercolor paper. Each has been hand painted using pearlescent acrylic and dusted with tiny glass beads and/or ultra fine crystal. Their shoes are painted gold metallic. The cotton ribbon from which the hang has been dyed with coffee and each says "Seasons Greetings 2011~ Du Buh Du Designs" .
As with most of my previous ornaments they can be hung all year round or framed or framed if you wish. Please keep these art pieces out of direct sunlight, heat, and humidity to ensure that they last a lifetime :)
(my screen is showing color a bit on the yellow side...in person all colors on the ornaments are a nice vintage ivory and pearly color)
