Every so often I stumble across something that I find so astonishingly beautiful, so perfect (in my eyes), that I can't stop reading or listening to it or in this case I can't stop looking at the goregous details and materials of these romantic creations.
This is the work of designer/photographer Jenny Eve of Jevda, whose hand stitched couture garments are made from vintage laces, tassels, beads and textiles (from Uzbekistan, India, Afghanistan,etc.). Her influences include stong women from bygone eras, costumers such as Paul Poiret and designer Mariano Fortuny, foreign cultures, films, etc. I've included a few images here to share but I encourage you to visit Jenny Eve's blog to see more of her fantastic work.
