Here are the nine dolls I will have available for purchase in my Etsy shop this evening at 6:30pm Pacific/9:30 pm Eastern time. I had every intention of making these doll ornaments, but they wound up a bit too long to be ornaments. They are created very much like my previous ones and each has been outfitted with a wire hanger in the back made of spring steel for display purposes.
Any U.S. orders placed this evening will be sent out by this Saturday (USPS deadline for Priority Mail packages to arrive by Christmas Eve). Any order sent overseas will obviously not arrive by Christmas and will be shipped First class International. If you are new to my Etsy shop, I will list the dolls at the time above and you will need to refresh that page until you see the dolls appear on your screeen. I urge you to review my Policies section if you have any questions about payment, shipping, or to read more about how my dolls are constructed, additional materials used,etc.. Thank you again for your time and patience!
~General Doll Description~
These handmade dolls are approx 13-14" in length. I was inspired by vintage ballet dancers and their skirts made of tarlatan (material commonly used before tulle) and choose to outfit my dolls in a similar cotton voile fabric from India. Each dress has multiple layers of (frayed) voile that I hand stenciled with gold and silver metallic fabric paint (same stencils that I used last year~I wanted to use them again!). The hair is made of premium Suri Alpaca and is decorated with metallic trim and adorned with hand dyed feathers and handmade paper flowers that are painted with watercolors. Each doll has three Swarovski handset crystal navettes sewn onto their bodices The dolls shoes are painted with silver and gold liquid leaf (they have been varnished, but please be careful with the shoes as they can cause scuffing).
