Here are the eight new art dolls that will be up in my Etsy Shop today (December 19th) at 6:30pm Pacific/9:30pm Eastern time. If you are new to my shop updates, please note that you will need to keep refreshing the Etsy Shop page until you see the dolls appear. Dolls are sold on a first come, first serve basis (see my shop policies section regarding pricing, shipping, etc.). There will be one shipping price for the US which is for Priority mail (tracking + insurance) which should arrive by Christmas eve (no guarantee by the USPS though). I will issue a refund on all shipping costs that go over the amount of the actual shipping costs. International orders will be sent via First class International w/out insurance (unless requested).
Doll description is listed below (more info on doll construction is listed in my shop policies section). Please note that these images are a bit on the peachy or yellowy side due to the lighting~skin tone is actually ivory and outfits are on the ivory/cream and silver/taupe side.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and safe New Year :)
~General Doll Description~
These handmade art dolls are approx 17" in length. Each doll is wearing a dress made of silk shantung in an ivory or silvery taupe color and pale gold metallic silk. Their underskirts are also lined with silk in various colors along with Italian nylon tulle. I hand embroidered and beaded their bodices using swarovski crystals and stars, glass beads and antique sequins,etc.. Each has tattered antique french silk tulle sewn into the top of their bodices. I made tiny applique falling leaves using metallic silk (dyed in coffee) and sewed on sequins. The appliques are affixed to the dresses in the same manner as the star crystals (used recommended adhesive, please handle with care). Six of the dolls are wearing head bands made of antique metallic braiding with rhinestones, taken from a 1920's flapper dress. Two of dolls are wearing headpieces with swarovski stars on Japanese silk ribbon. Their hair is made of English viscose. Each doll has a tiny hook embedded into her back in case you wish to display her on the wall or as a framed piece. They do not stand on their own and must be propped up when sitting.
